The Eating Phase of Marathon Training

It’s at the point of marathon training when I am eating everything in sight.

My grocery bill is skyrocketing. Eating out includes a full portion and more. Second breakfast is encouraged.  And all that calorie counting?  More like how many more calories can I eat so I can break even?

I really give no bothers of how much and the insane portion sizes I eat now.

  1. My wife commenting on this topic today, saying she’ll be glad when the marathon is over so she has to stop watching me eat so much and everything in the house! Which I followed up with.. i kinda like doing this… ALL THE CARBS
